Our next Peace Club meeting will be this Friday, April 11th, at lunch in room 172. This will be an important meeting as we will be finalizing things that we have been working on for awhile, including finalizing (hopefully) the fundraiser that we’ve been planning on doing for a charity. In addition, those of you who have been lobbying for new club T-shirts, please bring any designs that you would like to propose to this meeting for us to take a look at.

Our next Peace Club meeting will be this Tuesday, April 1st, in room 172 at lunch. We’re going to try to finalize a benefit fundraiser, along with planning a special event that we’re going to be putting on this week. This will be a very important meeting, so please try your absolute best to be there!

Wednesday, March 19th will represent the fifth anniversary of the beginning of the invasion of Iraq, and there are a plethora of anti-war events taking place across the Bay Area.

In San Mateo, Peace Action of San Mateo County and MoveOn.org will be holding a candlelight vigil at the corner of 4th Ave. and El Camino Real. If you would like to be there, bring signs and candles. The vigil will begin around 5 PM and go approx. until sunset. Get more information.

Alternatively, you can look at the other events taking place in the Bay Area.

Speak out and be involved! Please try to set aside some time tomorrow to join in one of these activities and participate in an important movement.

This will be an opportunity for us to regroup and plan out what we want to do for the rest of the school year. Hello Peace Club Members:
We are going to be having a Peace Club meeting tomorrow (Tuesday 2/12) at lunch in room 172. We have some things that I want us to talk about, plus I’ve got some exciting news to announce! Also, I hope you’ll be able to come to the Aragon Expo on Tuesday evening (yes, the same day), starting at 7 PM in the Small Gym. We will be doing a small bake sale fundraiser at the Club Expo, so feel free to bring something if you would like.
